She dreamed of getting out of the oppressive  shadow of the central government. For this reason, the navy was  appealing to Agatha, server on a ship, maybe get put on border patrol,  and defect when the chance appeared.  That dream died two months after Agatha finished basic, while  deployed aboard the Bismarck’s Dream​ as a gunnery officer during a  major engagement with a group of pirates, who, according to reports  had been bothering the crew for a long time. Watching the missiles  collide with other gunnery turrets as shells lobed from the massive  cannons flew at one another, Agatha declared that she would fight to  reform the Deutschland into a nation she could be proud of.  Following the battle, Agatha befriends a crew member, Adalwolf  Fedorov​ who was being discharged for failure during the combat action.  Quickly, the two bond over a shared sense of devotion.  After Fedorov ​ leaves the ship, Agatha begins to have a quiet  life, not talking to many onboard the ship, but doing fine work at her  job. That is until she overhears a group of viper pilots talking about  their plan to hijack a freighter on their next patrol run and flee the  Deutschland. Talking matters into her own hands after the corrupt  flight officer ignores her request. Agatha kills two of the three  trator pirates.  This was while Bismarck's Dream​ was on route to engage a group of  pirates. The loss of these pilots and the corruption that it  demonstrated as being rampant on the ship meant that once it actually  arrived in battle, the battle was that much more difficult.   It was only thanks to the aim of Agatha on the pirate vessels  that the Bismarck’s Dream​ made it out safely. Unfortunately this  incident brought an end to Agatha’s long service career within the  navy.  Discharged the 34 year old Agatha decided to try and enroll in  the marine corp, only to receive a quick and painful no. To old, and  many previous jobs, not enough openings.  Acolyte Agatha Isaev - Drifter  Left jobless and homeless, Agatha begins aimlessly drifting  around the nation's vast starscapes. After a few years of drifting and  working on jobs, filling the role of various dead crew members and  lending a hand to get around, Agatha is told that her Mother had died.  Distraught at the loss of her mother, and with life in general  having gone from good to bad to worse, Agatha takes increasingly risky  jobs taking her further and further away from the sane society until  she ends up on the very edge of the Deutschlands territory.   The near suicidal Agatha, only days before a daring heist to  attack a major bank on a rimworld, receives a voidnet message from  Fedorov. He had heard of her newfound skills with firearms, and knew  that she was a hell of a gunner, and thus had requested Agatha to  serve as a member of his Retinue. She quickly jumped at the chance to  redeem her soul in the eyes of Sigmar, or at least serve in the ultra  dangerous inquisitorial core.
