Introduction: “You each awaken from your low birth passage, you feel the all too familiar pins and needles hit your body. Months passed like minutes. You’re not sure of the exact date or time but it feels like only moments ago the strange technician was putting you under. As you slowly come to your senses as the sounds of chatter and smells of… unpleasant things fill the air from other pods. Crying children and rants to the technicians on why this or that happened. You hear what might be a faint sobbing in the background, most likely another lost to cryo death. After a few minutes, and putting your clothes on and gather your things ” (check if any of them entered into the lottery, if they won replace someone with the player) “You see a member of the crew approach someone and quietly whisper to them before the two of them start heading towards the bridge. Most likely the winner of the cryotto. “ “After a little while, you are ushered into a large hanger with a shuttle waiting inside it. The small craft takes aboard you along with the other dozen or so passengers. As it begins the decent down to Amondiage a screen starts to play a video. Opening with the Old Island Defense League symbol” (Show the symbol) “and begins to say ‘The Old Island Defense League welcomes you to Amondiage. Here on Amondiage we believe the rule of law is above all else. Step outside of the bounds and there will be consequences. 1\) No weapons or overt body armour of any kind is permitted within Amondiage, the consequences of which may be up to death. Out the window you can see a wide variety of the ships in orbit, ranging from those clearly from the Deutschland or Germusa to less overt imperial starships. Clearly though, the space station is a busy place. After breaking the atmosphere though, the real view of the planet becomes apparent as you approach the city of Amondicar. The massive banners adorned with the imperial symbol. The billboards in the sky not only reminding visitors of the rules, but praising his royal highness, as well as the empire and britanica. The sharp and efficient seeming city below on your approach seems almost like a computer. Operating in perfect order. There is an almost criminal lack of disorder. No planet in the UFE could hope to achieve this level of efficiency.” “The star port itself is massive. Besting the largest of modern airports in size and scale. A hub for shuttles and ships of all sizes and designs. Some so alien as to puzzle one on its most basic \\ of functions. Getting to the gate is awesomely easy. Deboarding is a breeze. Walking through the spaceport you see a variety of species, not only from this galaxy but from many, many others. The various shops selling everything from simple snacks to live animals and everything in between. Weapons dealers, gear resellers, and a whole host of other such shops fill an entire wing of the spaceport. As well as an official UFE embassy and outpost, among the numerous other governments. “ Give the players some time to do some shopping The spaceport is the hub of Amondiage and should be where the players spend most of their time. **Things in the Amondiage spaceport** 1. As you walk past you see the large furry creature reach into its mouth and pull out what seems like a large stip. Before Shoving the stick up its nose, putting it out rapidly at which point it springs forth a flame. Holding the large flaming stick (about 3 feet long) twirling it around, the large cat person throws it between himself and someone of the opposite gender. The Two begin to seemingly tango, with their leading hands clasped over the torch. As the torch burns itself down fairly quickly almost before hitting the hand you see the tangoing pair arrive at a large cauldron of some sort into which they toss the torch and split off from one another. A shower of green flames fly out of the caldron before a leaping demon looking beast comes forth from the shower of flames. To which the two cat people seem to draw torches out, lighting each of them with the flames of the demon beast, whose torso and up stand from the caldron. The two cats begins a short duel, with a flurry of hits and parries, from each other, neither able to get the other hand, before the two turn rapidly towards the demon and charge at it. The demon lashes back with an intensive wave of fire at the cats who valiantly run through it, shoving their torch swords into the demon, seemingly vanquishing it. The room then erupts into a thunderous applause as the two cats take a bow and draw a large crowd begins to form around them and all chatter nearby seems to be on the performance” Once they are done shopping and want to clear customs “As you head to the customs line. Expecting a long wait, but it is surprisingly fast. With different lines based on the language you speak to let you quickly get to translators. As well as, of course, a priority line for members of the Old Island Defense League. After waiting for only a few minutes you approach the customs desk. The older customs agent dressed in his dark grey uniform seems almost eager to process you. For someone of such an age you are shocked at how quickly this white haired almost frail looking man speaks ‘Name? Where are you coming from? Reason for entering the OILD? How long are you planning on being here? Have you committed any crimes as defined by the Universalis Confederation’s declaration of crimes against life? How old are you? Prior jobs? Will you be meeting with anyone? Where will you be staying? How will you be leaving? Do you have any weapons?’ Finally ending with a quick search of the travellers baggage before they are allowed to enter the city.”’
