- A mining colony on the edge of [[RPG/RPG V1/Nations/Federation/United Federation of Earth|Federation]] territory in the [[Berlinnic]] galaxy discovered an ancient and long buried, powerless [[Zalyn]]! The mine is divided across clear class lines - the lower class miners and the middle class managerial group who run the mine. The managers want to cover up that the Zalyn was found, and get it back to their companies HQ for examination. The miners are scared of the Zalyn and want the Federation to take it and destroy it. - The company would rather word of the Zalyn not get out, and has contracted HQ who has dispatched a ship - the [[SMCS Palmia]] to recover the Zalyn and secure the colony. - [[Baronette Fulbellar]] has racked up a large amount of gambling debt, and as such is looking for a new opportunity to make some money. Recently the Baronette was approached by a mining company known as [[Devgallian Mining Company]] - To help this company secure control of [[Selbin]] the Baronette has hired the [[Preygalliar Mercenary Company]] to cause chaos and problems to the [[Sicilian Mining Company]] who currently own the exclusive mining rights to the planet. - The Baronette does not know that hte Zalyn is there, nor does the [[Devallar Group]]. - The miners, being uncomfortable with the Zalyn, had word smuggled to the nearby Federation Station in the [[Catanusa System]], from which the [[UFEN Acharium]] was dispatched to investigate. **The ship was dispatched on 07/01/83395.** - [[Dispatch Order to the Acharium 07.01.83395]] - The Acharium arrived in system 10.01.83395 and after talking with Miners, as the management were uncooperative, discovered many miners were addicted to [[Exagalcian]]. The Acharium, true to its mission of anti-smuggling, investigates this problem and traces it back to an outpost in the Suki Corrdior (the [[Walkine system]]) - however, the ship is damage and captured by the [[Devallar Group]], so tha t[[Devalgar Allpreyar]] can use it as his own capital ship. - on 10/04/83395 the [[SMCS Palmia]] arrived in system indending to retrieve the [[Zalyn]] which management worked ot hide from the [[UFEN Acharium]] as well as pick up its regular refined ore shipment and drop off supplies to the mining colony. AS such, it stopped off at the moon [[Auldwin Fulbellar]] to gather refined ore. - on 12/04/83395 the ship arrived in orbit of [[Selbin]], where it deployed a platoon of corpo troops, new management , and recruits for the mines. - on 13/04/83395 a group of mercenaries working for the [[Preygalliar Mercenary Company]] stormed the mining colony and have taken control of the part of the mining colony, seemingly with the support of the old miners. - Now the new miners, new management, old management, and the corpo trooops are holding part of the Colony (its command office, landing pad, generator and engineering room, and med bay), while the Mercs have taken control of the mines, the storage rooms including where the Zalyn is kept, and the miners quarters. -
