You know what it should look like. | | 1 | Hobbyist | You've done this before a few times. You're not an expert, you're not a professional, you're not even really trained at this thing, but you've got a sense of what the Flux Capacitor does when connected to the anti-matter generator. | | 2 | Trained | You've received a basic level of training in this and have some practical experience, you've done a course or two on this topic and have more skilled then a newbie whose been trained a bit. | | 3 | Proficient | You've gone through a fair bit of training as well as practice. You know what you're doing and are confident in your own abilities - more then the family IT person, you're a Junior in your field, but still much above the average hobbyist | | 4 | Professional | This is part and parcel of your day to day work, what might challenge other people is normal and simple to you. | | 5 | Expert | You are damn good at this. You can identify a problem after a few minutes of looking at it, and if its easy solve it even quicker. Your colleagues consult your for your knowledge on a specialized domain or area. | | 6 | Master | On a national scale you are famous, you are sometimes asked to appear on infotainment recordings offering your perspective on issues related to your field, and are considered beyond even a Sr. colleague for many in this field or area. | | 7+ | Grand Master | You are part of the small group of people who internationally shit talk each other for having wrong understandings of ideas, while also having a strong respect for the skill of the those you're shit talking. You are near the apex of people trained in this skill, and you are sought out by others for your understandings and opinions on this topic |
