### Weapon Tech Level The [[Tech Level]] of a weapon is the [[Tech Level]] in which it first appears for mass production. Weapons can be produced on worlds of a lower tech level then the weapon is, but generally of poorer quality or taking a longer time. Some worlds limit the tech level of weapons which may be brought onto them. You cannot use a weapon whose Tech Level is more then 5 above your Education Attribute's value. _For example, if you have an Education of 7, you can use a Tech Level 12 Blaster Rifle, but not a tech level 15 Plasma Rifle._
