### Weapon Range
Ranges are divided into general 'bands' which represent the weapons usual operating range. For each step outside of that range 'band' you take, minus 1 to your roll, unless it is the first two bands CLOSER to the character. _For Example, if your weapon is in the 'Short' band, and you're shooting at someone at a 'Long' distance, you suffer a -2 for shooting two bands above you. Similarly, if you're shooting someone in the 'Close' band with 'Short' weapon, you get a +1. If you're shooting someone whose within the 'Short' bands range, then you get neither a benefit nor a loss_
Ranges are measured in [[Combat Unit|Combat Units]], each representing a roughly 2m by 2m area.
