# Social Campaigns Social campaigns are campaigns which are focused around social characters, and often their interaction with various factions. This might be a cult trying to gain members, a noble governing their realm, a group of scientists working to study a subject, people running a planetary, system, or larger government. Social campaigns are focused on the actions of the players and their faction, and the reactions of other factions pursuing their own goals. Players should attempt various faction actions towards their present goal, and the GM should work to put random situations in their way, and force the players into dealing with the various factions to advance their goals. It should be noted that even non-social focused campaigns can use these rules. Players may find moments where these rules correspond more closely to their needs at one moment, and then stop using them two sessions later because they're no longer relevant.
