The Island Union is the noblest of goals; democracy and capitalism, freedom and liberty combined together into one institution. --- ### Abstract _The Islands Union is a beacon of democracy is a dark sea of feudal empires. The Union is a single body legislative chamber, with a simple executive chosen from among the sitting bodies members. The Union's key power position is the President, the head of the Legislative and Executive branches. Their power is mainly in that they are given tax money raised by Union legislation, and they command the Union fleets. Otherw1ise, union members are given a high degree of autonomy._ _The legislative branch is free to define the terms of the Presidency as it wants to; it is free to define for itself the limits of what its members can do. The Legislative assembly is the ultimate source of power in the Union. YOUR VOTE MATTERS. USE IT FOR GOOD. Set Union foreign policy in written legislation, thus forcing the President to follow it._ --- ### Main Text 1.
