## Rounds The game will be divide into eight (8) forty-five (45) minute rounds, lasting for a total of 6.5 hours. This is because there will be a half hour break after round 4 during which pizza will have become available. ### Phases of a Round Each round will be divide into three phases: 1. The Group Phase - ~5 minutes 1. In this phase, the major 'groups' will break apart for a few minutes to discuss their plan for the rest of the round, work out anything that needs dealing with, etc. 2. The Free Phrase - ~30 minutes 3. This phase is for making treaties, submitting orders, buying food from the store, etc. 4. During this phase, be sure to see Barbara to collect your resources. 3. The Combat Phase - ~10 minutes 1. This phase orders which have been submitted during the Free Phrase are executed, combats are rolled, plans and schemes carried out, and announcements made. 2. Orders are executed based on the time they were dated & signed by me. Submitting your order earlier means it get executed earlier. 1. The result of a build order is not added to the board until after all fleet orders have been carried out. Upgrades happen during the same time as the order was issued.
