# First ideas for next year
We need to get ship orders done better, and doing small scale stuff for the economy is a mess and causes problems, so fuck that. have the entire economy digitized.
also fleets are annoying as fuck and waaaaaayyyyyyyyy to complicated.

So thinking about things for next year, I kinda have two branches of thought. First: digatize the economy, and fleets. Moving them is handled on a web-page, first pick order time, then a simple text-search by name for systems within the fleets movement range, with the location listed after incase of duplicates (I think theres one), and you can select the fleet, and then a notes section. The economy you can sell resources to the market, and buy resources from the market. The market has a set starting supply of resources. You can also 'withrdraw' and 'deposit' resources with Barbara, allowing back room trade deals. Second: Moving some government stuff around. I'm thinking now theres basically three factions in the islands: The Union, the Venhut Dominate, and the Rex van der Jeffers. As such, next game looks something closer to our small scale politics games that we played two summers ago. Three of them happening at once, each with a GM, and then one GM (me) overseeing all of it and causing chaos \[This is actually something I didn't tell anyone about, meant to at the end, but there were actually random events at times which could look like terrorist attacks or stuff happening as well, like the labor issues you guys had in round 2 I think\], with each government functioning differently. Players are playing characters, though some characters like an Admiral or General of the Dominate who defects can bring some fleest with them like Logan did, or a Count or Duke could bring land and ships, but a Federation offical might only be able ot offer intelligence and resources or something. The latter route to me does away with some of the need more complex ship order stuff. We go back to first game sorta stuff where you guys vaugly write down what you want to do on paper, including for fleets (solike move the fleet at Acadie to Amondiage and attack anyone who enters the system), and the economy while existing can still be digitized.
