Nothing to note. Service Background Irina was one of the lucky youth who got a chance to head off world. When she was 18 she got clearance to join the navy. Her first battle would happen days after joining the navy, when the simple carrier that was transporting her to the academy was ambushed by pirates. Irina was tossed onto a cannon and quickly started to rack up hits, even destroying one the pirates boarding craft. During her next several years of service, Irina gained experience in many different areas. Her ship’s captain was a good person who saw violence as a last resort. For this reason Irina developed an ability to act as a diplomat. Some people though did not take kindly to this diplomatic action and during one of the visits that Irina was heading, her shuttle was bombed and she was severely injured. Following her near death, she was transferred to the islands to help the Deutschland population deal with diplomatic issues.
