Service Background When the military arrived on the planet, they took Gerd. The reasoning being that Gerd had not been part of the colony team and thus was harming the resource allocations to the colony. It was instead decided that Gerd should enter the military. During Gerds first actual battle, he was captured by a group of settlers who had decided the Deutschland wasn’t for them. Held for nearly a year, at first the settlers tortured the poor boy.
