# Howlu Sector Recent History Timeline - 68186 - As part of Emperess Asslyum's new age of Colonization, the Tratus dwarf Galaxy, near the Imperial-Versian Galaxy of Colasky, had only a small Federation presence. As such, it was selected by the Empress to be one of the galaxies to be colonized in the first wave. - 71329 - The Howlu Sector is reached by Knight Tamar Sarlattav, who claimed the region for himself, settling many of his officers as Knights, and establishing himself as their Knight-Sergeant - 73852 - The United Federation of Earth explorer Francis Gray establishes a colony in the Howlu Sector, which quickly spreads to nearby systeps. - 75544 - Grays' Republic and Sarlattavs' fiefdom begin feuding. - 77883 - The Federations Republic and Vers' Fiefdom begin engaging in petty boarder skirmishes. - 78000 - Knight-Sergeant Danilir Sarlattav raises his Knights and launches a series of raids of the Republic, crippling its' shipping. - 78001 - In response to the shipping crisis the Republic Raises a small fleet. - 78002 - Knight Vlad Biskar of Sergeant Sarlattav's fief is killed in a skirmish with a Republic ship. The Knight-Sergeant responds by declaring war on the Republic to avenge his fallen Knight. - 81609 - Empress Asslyum of Vers Daughter and parital-inheritor of the throne old Imperium, a, restorer of the Third Vers Empire, is killed during the events which start the First Order Uprising in the United Federation of Earth - Asslyum: was the partial-inheritor of the Imperium, and had an ancestrial claim to the Versian throne. She married the former High Lord Admiral (HLA) of the United Federation of Earth Johnathan Reid. HLA Reid was a close friend of Asslyums' Father, Emperor Constanius XIV. As a result, the two met and spoke often. Ried renounced his position as HLA to accept Constanius' offer of the parital holder of the Imperial Throne, which coincided with Asslyum's asking for Ried's hand in marriage. Reid eager accepted both requests. (It would be unwise to leave out that Reid was a vampyr, a trait he passed on to his children.) - 81711 - Empress Cathrine confirmed on Versian throne - Cathrine marries a Federation Lord who fled to Vers after creashing First Order's economy, named Henry. The couple has four children: Henry II, Johnathan II, Camillia, and Charles. - 81841 - Xiao-Ming declares war on Axion Alliance after refusing to comply with legislationg breaking up the Company's mega-monopoly within Alliance. Vers' backs Axion Alliance. - Roughly at the same time, fascist break-away state Peoples Federation of Utopia (PFU) begins geocoding United Federation of Earth citizens within its boarders. The Federation declares war on the PFU to defend its' citizens. The PFU is allied with Xiao-Ming, and decalres war on Vers. Vers is allied with the Federation, and declares war on the PFU, the Federation and Xiao-Ming declare war on each other. - This is the Start of the Great War. - 82670 - Empress Catherine gives birth to her fourth child: Charles. - 82872 - Empress Cathrine dies fighting. The Empress' brother Prince Charles brother, only ~230 years old was widely thought unready to rule. Her husband Emperor Henry I, an alcaholic after losing two children and his wife, was granted the throne as regent. - 83340 - the finally series of peace treats are signed finally bringing the Great War to an end. - 83346 - To pay off the massive war debts which Vers had accrued, Henry began selling Imperial-Versians their independence from the Empire. - 83351 - Based on Emperor Henry's selling of titles, the Regium Britannia is founded, a vital part of what would become the Imperium. - 83356 - Henry, tired of ruling, begins seeking ways to reduce his involvement in Government. Unaccustomed to, or perhaps uncaring of, traditional forms of Versian Government, Henry introduces a major democratic reform in creating a new chamber, the Citadel, to debate legislation before sending it the lordly Collosius. - This is considered the founding of the Second Versian Republic - the Citadels first president is the son of one of Henry's fellow First Order Investors who fled to Vers after their debt-heavy economic mismanagement collapsed the FIrst Order's economy. - 83358 - The Versian economy has become built around two things: the promised repayment of Deutchrean (Sigmarian) war debts, and large amounts of money from selling Lord's their freedom from the Empire. This combiniation fueled an unprecident economic bubble. In this year, Deutchrea began defaulting on its war debts. - 83360 - Emperor Henry, seeing the brewing economic crisis, attempts to intervene, but is forced out by Charles. Charles then assumes his rightful title of Emperor, subordinating the Ciradel to him. - 83362 - Fleeing a failed coup in the Federation, Former High Lord Admiral of the Milky Way Hellsbeck arrives in Vers, quickly gaining favour with the new Emperor. - 83363 - On Hellsbeck's advice, Charles gives into his greed, and ignoring the pleeding of his economic advisors he increase the sale of lands to hide the Deutchraen debt defaults, allowing the economic bubble to grow even greater. In this year, the recently established Versian stock market surpassed the ancient Federation, and aged Imperium stock markets in turns of total market value. - 83364 - By the start of this year, the FourthSecond Vers Republic was on the bink of collapse, now consisting of about half the territory which the Third Empire held at the end of the Great War. That is, Vers was half the size it had been 25 years before. Charles', shocked by this realization, institutes a ban on further title sales, angering many lords who looking forward to their freedom. Meanwhile, without the cash from title sales, the money to pay out in lieu of Detuchrean debt is gone, and the money-printing from the market begins to collapse. - 83365 - The Versian stock market collapses. quintillions are lost in an instant as the payouts from Deutchrean war debts dry up, the entire financial system whcih had been built atop it collapsed, having taken most josb and industies with it. For many who had made their fortunes during this time, rising from peasant to prince, the shock resulted in a scramble for security. - 83366 - Charles brings an end to the citadel and its Second Republic, delcaring the dawn of a Forth Empire. As part of a Conservative restoration, bringing back the martial virtues of the Third Empire, and discrediting the false virtues of those who had been wrongly risen in the last few decades, Charles declares a 'civil war' against those Lords to whom he had sold their freedom. - The civil war breaks down into Vers fighting against two factions: the Regium Britannia and its allied Imperial-Lords, and the United Reverse Lords (URL). The latter are led by Charles' half brother Lord-Commander Richard, and represented a democratic-Conservative vision of Vers which sought to restore the golden age of the First Republic - the period predating Empress Asslyum. - 83368 - Knight-Lieutenant Orlov refused to sell his title, while many in Tratus had, much to the chargrin of his Imperial subjects. When word of the civil war reached Orlov's lands, the Knight called on his family members as Knight-Sergaeants to aid him in restoring the Emperor's honour. - 83369 - Mikaela Orlov's sister, Camilla Orlov is nearly killed when rioting subjects fearing civil war demand Camilla seek the protection of the Federation. This was not dishonourable, as Camillas greatfather who had first establised the Knight-Sergeantdom which Camilla accepted, granted the title to an honuorable Federation officer he was serving with in the Great War. As such, the region was technically a corexia with the Federation, meaning both Vers and the Federation had a claim of ownership over the lands. Heeding her peoples call, Knight-Sergeant refuses her brothers call, and instead applied for Baron status with the Federtaion - 83370 - Camilla is recognized with the title Baron of the Howlu Sector by the Count David of the Tutorale Supersector, whom declares that he recognizes Baroness Camilla as a member of his Court, and that an attack on her or her people would constitute an attack on the Federation, and would serve as just grounds for reprisal. - 83371 - Having made his fortune, and bought a knightly title on loan, Knight Misk was a broken man when the market collapsed and his title was revoked. He found solace in an pro-Imperial group and during this turbulent period began agitating with them against the Orlov family. - 83375 - Emperor Charles is killed in Duel with Richard. Emperor Henry watched it happen, and upon the death declares himself back on the throne, and his son foolish civil war over. The Emperor says a halfhearted goodbye to his remianing son Lord-Command Richard, wishing his son great luck with his United Lords project, and similarly sends a command to all loyal knights that hte war is over. Draw boundaries on what is held, and the rest is granted to its holder. - 83377 - word of peace reaches Howlu , and Knight-Lieutenant Orlov is forced to grant the agitators the land which they occupied. It is an uneasy truce, as new economic and cultural interests begin flooding the area, and all three nations attempt to snipe land from one another in whatever way they cant. - 83391 - Present Day for game events.
