## Founding Era (3364-3467) I leave the telling of the founding of the First Terran Empire, and the rule of the first Emperor (3364-3403) to Darth Raven in his *Short History of the founding of the First Empire*. Instead I shall focus on all the other periods, many of which have yet to be given a properly imperial treatment since the founding of new Empire. I will instead begin my telling the moment after his death, in 3403, on the far side of the Empire from the future Grand Master Witcher Gerald, future Pseudo-emperor of the Federation Luke Skywalker, and the Sigmarian Sigmarius of the Church of Sigmar. With the death of the Emperor, Darth Vader, Emperor Darth Sidious' star apprentice and pupil, assumed the office of Emperor unrivaled by all except an extremist wing known as the First Order, discussion of which I leave to the relevant fanatical First Order historians. Darth Vader issued an order, dividing the First Terran Empire into two: those in the Norther reaches of the crumbling empire were to flee to the Sheeve dwarf Galaxy, where the First Order and other devoute, nearly fanatical, organizations were located. The rest of the Empire, inlcuding much of the loyal citizen-base, merhcant base, and military assets, were located in the south. They were ordered to meet the new Emperor, Darth Vader, at the southern edge of the Empire, where from Vader vowed to lead an expedition to the edge of the galaxy. Vader pulled the failing impeiral military from the boarders, instead using the military assets he amassed to cover his retreat as he went fromt he galatic-central, the center-west of the Empire, to first to the Imperial south. Once htere, he rallied his Imperial assets, and began blazing a trail to the galatic south, leading the Imperial military fleet and the remenent of the rest of the Empire behind it, in battle with various minor Human factions, and xenos if they did not allow the refugees through. Once Vader had opened a path for his peopel to the galatic south - around 3429 - he began construction of the first Void Gate ever constructed (finished in 3443). This specially engineerd one did not require a reciever gate - it instead used the power of a whole trinary star system to power itself, allowing all of Vader remnant fleet to flee to Palpatinious galaxy, arriving on the North-Western edge in 3447. As the fleet filtered in, Vader once again continued in his positions a great enginner - having spent considerable time during the construction of the void-gate retrofitting the fleet, changing the Imperial Star Destroy Mks 1-3 to the Vaders' Revised Star Destroyer Mk 1. The new ships had more advanced void engines, better distributed energy turrets allowing them greater arcs of fire, a reallocation of armour to reduce the fighter capacity but expand the troop shuttle capacity, and the ability to survive rounds. By 3450 Vader took his refreshed fleet from the cold, sunless edge of the Palpatinious galaxy to the first boarder systems which Vader led the conquest of. The subsequent seventeen years of Vaders rule would be an unrelenting military conquest. Having only limited information, Vader started more wars than he could finish. He was acclaimed by his troops for always leading from the front, his forceful neogiating style, and great magical strength. When Vader finally died in 3567, it was defending his retreating troops after a failed assault on the capital of an ancient and powerful nation of magic users within the Palpatininous Galaxy, the Creepicks. Vader overestimated the imperial strength and now his troopers were falling back, while he had a group of fourteen other senior Syth faced down the entirety of the Creepick Controller Council - over 250 master magic users. The syth slew 198 before their final member - Vader, was finally himself slain. Knowing that this would be his last stand, Vader declared that his successor should be the weak Syth, but strong tactician and minor politician in the Imperial Senate: Darth Doctrus, proclaimed as Emperor Tarkeen (r. 3467-3540) Vader had three things which he focused on: studying the void/his duties as the Supreme High Grand Master of Orthodox Coursantian Sythism, his work as a great engineer/upgrading/designing weapons/ships/vehicles/armour/devices for the Imperial military and rarely civilian line, and finally his work as a military leader who sometimes was also the leader of what was technically a state. Though Vader cared little for politics, he sometimes took a stand, predominately in defense of the Citizens who came with the Imperials, defending their rights as essentail members of the Empire. Predominately Vaders reign can be broken down into his early military period, when he led the Empire from its falling lands to the edge of the milky way. Then he was in his engineering period, where he built the void gate, and new military technology. Once in the new galaxy, he finished up shoring up his military, and then he went on the offensive. he then led an imperial conquest across this new galaxy, subjugating three dozen alien species to imperial rule, geocoding at least four, in an effort to establish a foundation for his Empire - a garden where by the order he brought beauty might flourish.
